30 Steps towards Happiness

Insecurity Detox by Trish Blackwell was an easy and engaging read. If you have a desire to change your status quo, this book will give you easy bite sized chapters that you can take to challenge yourself. Insecurity Detox is written from a Christian perspective towards changing your life for the better. Each chapter focuses on exercises for the body, mind, and spirit. While I found some of the chapters repetitive, it could have been because I was reading this book faster than suggested in order to provide a review.

If you engage with this book the way Blackwell suggests, you should do a chapter a week or every few days. Each chapter features an inspirational quote and story, followed by detox exercises you can do for the mind, body, and spirit. If anything, my only suggestion for this book would be to summarize the detox exercises for each chapter by mind, body, and spirit at the end of the book. It would be a great way to go back through and practice them again without having to read/review each chapter. For a good read, I am giving Insecurity Detox 4/5 stars. This is an easy plan that if followed will definitely make a difference in your life.
