The Book of Kringle – Legend of the North Pole was a cute little Christmas book about the story of the North Pole and how Santa was created. This book was a treat for the eyes with beautiful illustrations interspersed throughout the story. Legend has it that Santa’s evil brother was a dictator who worked the elves every day in the mines collecting treasure. Unbeknownst to his brother, Kris Kringle, the man who would later become Santa, attempted to help the elves. This story details the plight of the elves and the steps that Kringle would take to ensure they were treated with the kindness they deserve.
I love Christmas stories and as this was a quick read, I found it a book I would likely share with my children (male or female) in the future. The vivid illustrations are a treat to behold. If you enjoy Christmas stories and never tire of hearing about Santa and how he came to be, then this book should be one you enjoy. I am giving it 4/5 stars for a delightful new Christmas adventure that should be just the right length for parents of younger children.
I received this book for free from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
